Instructions

Preheat Your Oven and Prepare the Pan

  • First, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your 8-inch round cake pan with butter or non-stick spray and lightly dust it with flour. You can also line the bottom with parchment paper to ensure the cake doesn’t stick.

Mix Dry Ingredients

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. These dry ingredients are the base of your cake and will ensure it rises beautifully.

Combine Wet Ingredients

  • In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, vanilla extract, and vegetable oil until the mixture is smooth and well-combined. Add the milk and continue whisking until fully incorporated.

Add Boiling Water
